Another Green Chrismas | Christmas is a magical time of year. Of course, the kids are happy to receive the gifts. They haven't learned that the real satisfaction comes from giving them. We celebrated a couple of days early, on the weekend, because the 25th fell on a school day. Sadly, there was no snow either day! But, we had that special spirit even with the temperature approaching 100 degrees! We went with the approach of a couple of big gifts for the whole family supplemented by lots of "stocking stuffers" like socks, soap and underwear. The kids thought they were done when they opened the keyboard, but we surprised them with a weight bench and dumbbells hidden in Noy's house. |
