Finally, furniture | Muu and Rick enjoying a nice breakfast at our new kitchen table. After several weeks of shopping, we finally decided on a small table and the set of shelves, seen in the background. What an improvement it is to have even only two pieces of furniture! |

Green Screen | Ok, it's really a blue screen — Sometimes we have to make do with what we have. While the kids are on their long school break, they have been learning about video production. Today, Tong shoots sister Tae against the blue screen in order to experiment with the technique. Tae made herself up, so we thought we would share some of raw stills! |

Ja makes charcoal | In the states when you want to have a barbecue, you go to the store and buy charcoal. Here, you make your own from the dead trees and branches. The basic idea is to set logs on fire, and cover with dirt. After smoldering for a few days, you have charcoal! |
