Cream's 1st Bangkok Visit	Tong, Muu, and Cream arrive by train inn Bangkok. Cream's first words upon entering the condo: "Auntie Muu,, do you know Uncle Rick is a farang (foreigner)?" She is happy with all the snacks available here, especially the peanuts. She stuffs them in her mouth rather than sharing if somebody comes near!	2018-08-07
Cream Feeling Much Better	Cream stabilized and immobilized in Queen Sirikit Children's Hospital She is scheduled for surgery Tuesday and the doctor won't return until Monday morning. But, she's feeling much better and her trademark smile has returned.	2018-08-07
Finally Some Treatment	It was a very long evening. Never felt so frustrated: A small child in excruciating agony with a broken femur is finally admitted to the third hospital she visits. At the final hospital, waited several hours for a doctor to arrive to examine her. He finally gave her some pain relief — before that, other doctors said couldn't give cause she might need surgery. So Cream suffered for about 10 hours. Heart wrenching!	2018-08-07
Princess Elsa: Ready to go!	Cream is such a girly-girl. She loves to wear dresses and play with dolls. Today she is dressed as Princess Elsa. She insisted on wearing this dress on the train to Sisaket tonight, so that she can show it off to Yai when we arrive. After working a full day, Rick is ready to escape to Sisaket for a week long vacation	2018-08-07

Cream Checkup	Cream takes a motorcycle ride to the hospital to get an x-ray and checkup. According to the doctor, "Everything seems fine and she should be out of the cast end of June." End of June - another month in this torture device? Another month of changing diapers and total care? OMG!	2018-08-07
Cream finally gets her broken leg set	Five days after the accident they finally set Cream's broken femur. They called it surgery because she was anesthetized, but they didn't actually cut her. Her first words after waking up were, "I have cement pants." So although only the left thigh is broken, they have put her into a torture device that effectively immobilized her lower body. They say this is better than traction for a 3-year old, largely I think, because they want to get her home to recover — away from hospital germs.	2018-08-07
Surgery Tomorrow	Everybody here is exhausted: The women have been taking turns sleeping on the floor or across three chairs. We have a small hotel room down the street, but it's not getting much use. Incredibly, Cream who is now without any medication seems to be holding up fine. Think she likes all the attention. And of course, that coloring book!	2018-08-07
Cream's School Shoes	Cream returned to school this week, and although she has a beautiful new uniform,, she was wearing flip-flops for shoes. Of course, the other kids looked down on her about this: A major concern for this very fashion- conscious little girl, so we had to buy her these new ones. Also, last week when Pao got to play in Cream's Snow White outfit, she was clearly a bit jealous. So today we bought her a new dress of her own. Not to mention the ice cream: Smiles all around!	2018-08-07
Action-packed play day!	Muu picked up Pao so that Cream would have a playmate. Then with four kids, Muu went to visit her old friend M and pick up her daughter Mot. The five kids had a great time: Coloring, swimming, and dancing. But, when it was time to take Mot and Pao back home, the car got stuck in the mud forcing an impromptu sleep-over.	2018-08-07
Komsun Back to Chaing Mai	Komsun has been here for four very productive days. It's always magical when he codes in the same room with Bie. Now, Muu and Tong take him to the airport with Mae Bie tagging along.	2018-08-07
