Monroe County Health Director Dr Wendell R Ames appointed Richard T Salamone to the position of associate public health sanitarian in the Department of Health.
Ames said Salamone will assume responsibilities for rodent control and general sanitation services. He succeeds Joseph Desantis who has resigned to become vice president of Ucom Educational, Inc.
